A good cold pack can be made using half water and half rubbing alcohol frozen in a zippy bag then wrap in a towel. It will not freeze solid thats why the alcohol . kind makes a nice mushy wrap around bag istead of hard solid.
I usually double bag mine

A quick cold pack that I use, is a pack of peas or corn from the freezer. I've got those two packs marked so that they don;t accidently get cooked. I just toss them back into the freezer after each use.

Wendy, come on down. It is great weather this weekend. WOn't be any snow for skiing though. Certainly not a good ski season this year.... Of course, it is 20' warmer here than where you will be staying! ;D

Well you could always use 50% ever clear (or old shake-leg) and half water, and drink the left overs after the ice melts.

Evening folks ... we are getting some spring rain here tonight ... lots of lightening and thunder and a dab of hail earlier. Of course, I have two pregnant does ready to kindle ... hope I don't lose their litters!
