Ha-ha-My son and nephews are a lot like "tiller boys". Just out of high school, they called themselves "chick magnets"...and they were and still are! Aw, man, I can still remember when I dated guys who looked like that!!

Do they hug back??? Some where I read a tip to help your trees grow to roll up a newspaper and go out and beat the tree trunk with it!!! Supposed to stimulate something in the tree--- any one try that> Now I can just see Coppice beating his way ward bonsi trees into submission!

Giving tree babies a summer primp at wisteria camp ground as an inservice.
Been watching the news. Sure make me want to fight for a second bag of peanuts on a 15 hour flight crammed into a middle seat onna plane.

I can't think of a thing whacking a tree with rolled up paper would do to help the tree. Now I have wrapped the trunks with hay and tied it in place (and then watered that skirt), to make the bark thicken up. Hula bonsai trees
