Here is a volunteer zinnia growing among the weeds. It's prettier in person. Going to save seeds to this one. Pineapple Sage, this plant is 3 years old and sure has gotten big.

My wife is funny about flowers. She says unless it leads to something she can eat, she isn't interested in them. Chocolate, she says, is the way to go.

Ohhh that bluebonnet is lovely!!!! Thats one flower I have tried numerous times but can not get it to grow. even picked some seed from a ladys yard nearby --got them up , they grew that one season but didnot come back the 2nd year... Bought transplants they died a couple months later. It must be something I am doing wrong..... ya got any hints on how to grow them gotta be a secret there somewhere? ?

Teddy bear Sunflowers??? Wow, never heard of them, I'll have to keep an eye out for them!
I also have some black swallowtail caterpillers munching away on my dill that I started this year ... I'll probably have to thin the group so the dill can survive LOL
