Hello My name is Melody. Some of you may remember me from the IDigMyGarden forum. I was gone for a long time as I was going through a particularly nasty divorce. Things are mostly settled now and I came back to discover that one of my favorite forum friends started a new (well, new to me) forum. So here I am! Looking forward to spring planting this year. Who's planting what? Let's talk gardening. I want to learn more about edible landscaping now that I'm in a place with lots of yard space.

Fer me landscapes has at least an occasional bramble in it. They are pioneer plants and will tolerate herding and sculpting (if you can sculpt with a rototiller).
This year I gotta get a bed ready for my one bloodroot baby. Its probably time for it to go to field.

Welcome Melody! Some of the herbs like rosemary and horseradish, definitely would fit in the edible landscaping idea but I want to see if annuals can survive 1st. I'm going to experiment with some herbs (insert joke here) like basil and savory and see how they do here. I wonder if they can survive the heat.
