Lately, I've been enjoying Asian cooking, (Chinese, Japanese, Korean,Thai, Philippine, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Burmese, Indian, and other southeast Asian delights). I'm using about 30 different Asian cookbooks and some online sources to guide me through this adventure. I have three wok's that I use for quite a few of these recipes. All carbon steel in different sizes from 11 inch to 14 inch. Recently I picked up a non-stick 14 inch wok at Wal-mart for only $5.00, never thought I'd need a non-stick, but for the price...I had to add it to the collection. Well, it's my favorite wok to use now and believe me, you can't beat the price. Ive been making lots of crispy noodles in it, steaming won-tons, pot stickers, spring rolls in it. Doing lots of stir fries. It's great! If anybody still uses this forum, check it out It's a great wok! Enjoy! Camo

Stopped by Wal-mart again today. Picked up another $5.00 Wok, just to have a spare. Then found a slightly smaller Wok with a lid, a rack, a bamboo spoon and bamboo tongs as well as two small sauce bowls for less than $20.00 I think I have enough Wok's now (6), unless I find a nice cast iron one somewhere.
