over the last couple months I find my self planting a goodly portion of my compost fodder. I have filled the truck once with cast iron plants... found a 100 gallons of monkey grass... varigated lariope........ found 10 3-4 foot tall rooted azaleas...... a couple potted hydrangeas....... I found a bunch of fall perinnials...names unknown as of yet I be trying to rehab...lol they was rough... today I found 12 roses in a biggun bag. sighs. some had a few lil roots and some pulled out at the graft union. but free is free so what the hell. they is now in pots. I found 50-70 hibiscus clippings in a bag.they are a month old or so.... potted up as well.looks like half are still green and some tiny tender new growth.repotted a few....had some fine white root filaments.

Nice. With the rich soil from all of the leaves and compost, I bet most of your rescued plants will do great. You should make a sign for your property:

First bougainvillea and now roses - I bet you're STILL bleeding! Those and the hibiscus should make a glorious show in a few years, though.
