I have seed-sowing neck from having my head bent down for so long while sowing carrots and parsnips yesterday.
(I sow carefully because I find thinning to be as big a chore as sowing carefully the first time, plus sowing thickly wastes a lot of seeds. Of course, I was sowing a small patch, not a big garden.)

Dad pulled a Tom Sawyer, "there are a lot of leaves under the pecan trees that we could put in the garden" Of course we had to rake them first!

The day after I plow & rake out the grass, am usually really sore. It hits when I first get up and wish I hadn't!
