Hey! Speak up about growing these. I'm considering growing them for the first time. I've heard they do well in the South. Does anyone know if they do well in the North?

Cushaws rule? So are cumshaws the Great Pumpkin? Every Halloween does the Great Cushaw rise from the pumpkin patch and leave organic candy for all of the good little gardeners? And if the gardeners have been naughty and used Round Up does the Great Cushaw sow SVBs and stink bugs through out their patch?

Doing a cushaw type this year, 2 days ago planted two hills of black sweet potato. We will see, always a lot of guesswork for me when i do squash. Some butternut will go in too the next day it isnt too muddy and some of the trombocino squash is in as well. Hope everyone is doing well.
