Well today Dad decided to plant the rest of his garden. He went to his dresser drawer/seed stash and grabbed seed packs. He planted some zucchini, some straight neck summer squash, and a whole row from a packet that he saw had Crookneck on it. Well with his cataracts and bifocals he didn't read the Pennsylvania on the packet. " I planted these in the middle of the garden, 4 feet apart. Are they going to run?" He had one of my extra seed packs from 2012.

Dad dug up all of the seeds that he could find. Any bets on how many he missed?

The seeds came up, which seeds is still the question. The pennsylvania crookneck or the yellow crookneck summer squash he planted over them, kinda like using whiteout.

Could get some bamboo and stake them... see how much weight it can hold. The vines could shade the summer squash. Maybe I'm just thinking that way because I cut a bunch of bamboo and haven't been able to use it yet.

We used fresh cut bamboo for poles once. They started to grow. PCN grows to long and is to heavy to stake. Hopefully he go them all pulled up.
