There's a local nursery about 10 miles from my house. They just reopened after a bad hail storm last weekend. I was soooo thrilled to see fig trees there! They are little, Chicago Hardy figs. I bought two! Any tips on growing them? I do plan on bringing them inside during the winter. Even though they're hardy, our winter is still a little too harsh.
I also bought a couple honeyberries and a couple hardy kiwis too! Yeah!! So excited about my finds today.

G I just drop em in the ground with lots of compost and mulch em up real good. I usually don't have any issues with them settling in.

Hey Garret,
Thank you for the advice. I know the honeyberries and hardy kiwis will survive our winters. I planted two of each last summer. We had a brutal winter and they made it back. In theory the fig trees (Chicago Hardy) should be too. In theory......The greenhouse where I bought them is 10 miles down the round. The owner said its best in our area (The Great White North) to grow them in containers and bring them during the winter.
