Why do dryer balls always end up in pockets at the end of the cycle?
You would think there would be a one in a bajillion chance of that happening, There are always two or three of them in pockets every single time though.

Socks mismatched socks enter the wormhole in the dryer.

Socks mismatched socks enter the wormhole in the dryer. Not going into the whole of the theory of single socks evolving into wire coathangers thing. What really happens is they suddenly disintegrate and wind up in the lint filter. It requires heat to happen, which is one of the reasons there is so much more lint in the dryer filter than in the washer filter. *nods wisely attempting to look sage*

It really bothers my son when socks don't have a match. I told him the story of the planet with the lost left socks but he didn't buy it.
