I have made friends with a little girl who works in a local pizza shop. She appears to be a youngster prolly around 19/20 and she may be younger. I'm never good at guessing people's age! Now to start my story, I absolutely hate being called Sir. I went in the pizza shop the other night and she smiled and said, "how can I help you, Sir?" I ordered my Pizza and waited. When it was ready, she pointed at me and said, "Have a good evening, Sir and please come back." I sat my Pizza down and said "excuse me miss, but I just graduated high school less than 30 years ago, so I have a few more years until you can legally call me Sir." She began to giggle and then she asked my Name. I told her and we chatted a bit. I also told her in about 30 years, some young good looking stud was going to greet her as Ma'am and that she was going to remember this conversation! The last couple of times that I've been in to order my Pizza, she has addressed me by name with no mention of Sir.
She has a good sense of humor and prolly thinks I'm still and old geezer, but I bet in about 30 years, she will remember me! Hahaaaaa.

We teach all the young people at work to address the customers as sir/ma'am unless the customer gives them permission to call them by name! I guarentee she will remember you one day when it happens to her!!
