I live in a "fur farm" as I call it........I tell my many friends to never come over to my house with "dark clothes" on or you will leave just wondering what their original color was before ;D ;D

I have a Samoyed who has an "improper" soft coat. His coat doesn't have the outer guard hairs he should have. You cannot touch him without sending poofs of white hair floating up into the air. Sams are always a challenge when it comes to having white hair all over house and clothing, but this dog is a factory of floating fur. He has more fur fall-out than my two cats and seven other dogs put together.

I have 2 white male Ragdolls that are 17 and 18 pounds. They are living cotton-balls........There is soo much fur......I need to change the vacuum cleaner bag ever time I vacuum. I could knit a sweater with just the fur off of my couches All 5 are indoor only cats ;D They are worth the extra fur though.......I am used to eating food with fur on it........hahahahaha

I have some yarn made from Sam wool. I've been saving Sam wool for years, what I collect from the brush during grooming. Hopefully, some day I'll get a spinning wheel so I can spin it all into yarn myself. It has to be used for blankets or outdoor clothing because this wool is really WARM.
Yea, I know what you mean about the food. I have a self-imposed rule about not touching animals when I am cooking, and I usually change my shirt before I start to cook. That helps to cut down on the possibility of hair in the food. But nothing is FOOL proof!

Don't have any pets right now, but my sister has a dog that sheds BUCKETS of fur. When the dog walks across the room she walks in a cloud of hair; I call it her "hair Aura". Sister has tufts of it everywhere.... Doesn't bother me a bit because I love animals. I just don't wear anything to her house that will hold hair.

Forget wearing fleece if you have shedding animals. I hate fleece because it picks up every single stray hair and doesn't like to let go of any fur it picks up!

Imfao??? I don't text- don't want to pay for it on my phone, and would never use it anyway- dislike what it is doing to the english language.....
I made the 'mistake' of getting some canned food for my cats (Taffybug, the 14 year old matriarch, Cato, the trained attack cat, and Phoebe, aka the insane kitten) just for treats - they have a huge bowl of dry food out for them at all times. Taffy is so old she can't jump up on the counter any more, and Della, the german shepherd will eat any canned food I put down for the cats. And Phoebe was too tiny when I found her to compete with Della (although she tried), so I started giving the cats a bit of wet food on the kitchen counter. so now, they have me trained to get them all up on the counter- with Della waiting at my feet, and I split two cans of cat food among all 4- little bites at a time. Talk about having me trained!

Talk about having me trained! It reminds me of the Milkbone Staredown. At 9pm sharp, earlier it she thinks she can get away with it, my boxer starts a routine. First she sits and stares intensely at me, next she goes into her kennel and continues the Stare, next she starts raking the bars with her paw like a prisoner raking the bars of his cell with his tin cup. If this doesn't work she comes out of her kennel and starts the whole cycle all over again.
