I was out today gathering Green Nettle seeds for a guy that needed them for health reasons. I had to go through a lot of Nettles to find ones left with Green Seeds... Ok I had only a right glove left as my left one has holes in it. By the time I was done, I stung my left hand a lot but my right hand not at all...ok what is more redneck than picking Stinging Nettle Seeds with only one glove? You can ask the little blisters I got on my left hand...LOL I am pretty immune to little stings but I sure got wholloped today. Guess what I am getting tomorrow? Some heavy duty Atlas New Rubber Gloves, whoopee! NO more stings for me! Well at least not on my hands...now there was also my head and my legs...gosh I need a rubber suit???LOL I would look like an alien.... These grow up to ten feet high!

 happy accident fer sure! Gotta love the laptop with wireless ... and I just pick up and follow the shade around the yard Sure wish I had some chicks too ... the flies are bothersome and the grasshoppers aren't green any more, they are brown now ... getting big enough to make serious holes in my corn leaves too! Hopefully, I can get the last piece of privacy fence up this summer and pick up a half-dozen hen pullets or so and keep them on the sly

With all the gallivanting around the country you do, I bet wireless is your best buddy, wendy Yeppers on the sinking, too ... I still have to water that part of the yard every day ... helps keep it cool in the afternoon for the bunnies

You are right about the screen, and I am looking for an anti-glare screen for mine ... but I also follow the shade around the yard and that helps a bit

10 feet tall--- ya need a freaking spacesuit! I have harvested so many seeds, plants and roots with very few stings really. However what takes the cake is the stings I got on my head one day. Yes, I was getting seeds and the wind blew one tall nettle down across my head. My hair is fine enough, it sure did sting my scalp. I laughed on my home thinking hubby would not believe how silly it was. He was concerned instead and I was first hugged then admonished for not being careful enough....Yes, he would like to see me in a space suit...LOL You should see the gloves I found, they did not have size small so they are big but go past my elbows.... I have never seen taller nettles in my life. I was amazed when I moved here and found out that they are just a special type indigenous to Washington State, over 600 different kinds of these world wide but these are the tallest. I am paid to harvest or I would not harvest seeds. I like to harvest the tea leaves as that is when the plants are much shorter.
