Hey all,
It's knitting/crocheting weather. I've started a pair of socks for my Mom for Christmas and a hat for her birthday this month. She'll be 93 years young. What is everyone else doing?

I have an interminal, going on a year and a half project in filet crochet using #10 thread that I am going to try and get finished ... it was passed one year before I got to the half way point! I also have a request from DD for a sweater that she spotted in a magazine that I am trying to make ... I am using the Bernat Handicrafter Acrylic thread (that blooms like a yarn) in Really Royal Blue ... I have just over half of the bottom ribbing done so far. I always have anywhere from 2-5 other thread crochet projects going at any one time. Bernat is starting a Mystery Afghan CAL in a couple of days that I was thinking about joining. I have a white scarf half way done in the Handicrafter. I have 4 big balls of Wood Violet Handicrafter for a shawl for a cousin that I haven't even started yet. I still haven't even gotten the encyclopedias out to find the stitch yet, either. And I am making a pair of fingerless gloves to go with ... probably 3/4 length on the arm. I have a child's poncho that I have to do the last tack for the collar made in Bernat Baby Clouds in a very light blue-almost-white boucle yarn that has a stripe of purple fun fur. I have a baby pant and top suit that needs the buttons and velcro for completion. I also have a set of gorgeous drop spindles coming in the mail and a couple gallon ziplock bags of angora fiber from my bunny so I can learn to spin ... I have a "first yarn" that I did a couple of weeks ago:
