We love venison and elk liver with onions, but raw? I'm not quite that redneck... LOL.

I imagine there's alot of neat things one could make with those if you knew what you were doin'.
As far as liver, I love it, but don't eat it anymore. I would guess that's where all the chemicals, toxins end up, and it's hard to find organic.

Hubbs hit a deer at 4 am on his way to work.. it happened in front of his uncles house so I went to his uncles and he went and looked all over and said it was nowhere to be found.. Darn it!!

Hubbs hit a deer at 4 am on his way to work.. it happened in front of his uncles house so I went to his uncles and he went and looked all over and said it was nowhere to be found.. Darn it!! Hit my car and replaced one front light box and keep deer, ate whole winter---2000 winter.

Yep, we got a roadkill one year out front of the neighbours farm when the driver didn't want the meat and our neighbour already had a full freezer.
I have a g/f who has a kennel and she feeds her dogs the B.A.R.F. diet. She's constantly on the prowl for fresh roadkill to cut up and feed her hounds.
