I'm not great, but I like to watch Bob Ross and try to recreate his stuff. I've only painted a handful, but this is my favorite.

Not really. It was suppose to be water puddles that had collected after a rain, but I got carried away. Hahaaa.

Thanks Larry & Luv's. I learned by watching Bob Ross. The stuff I paint is just my version of what he did. I took up painting last year and did three paintings. I haven't done anymore, but when things slow down, I'd like to do some more. This is the last one I did. It needs something, but I'm nit sure how to finish it.

I'm impressed Tom. Your work is outstanding. You would of course have a very select clientele; that of the outdoorsman. Where would you sell these, at hunting and fishing shows?

I did mostly sports shows, but was to sell things like engraved flasks and prints while handing out brochures on the commission stuff. I can draw or paint anything, and fairly realistic. Thing is, it takes a ton of time. a 14 X 17" drawing takes me 40 to 60 hours, so honestly if I get back into it, I am going to have to jack my prices by a lot. <grin> At least if I am going to make a living at it again.
I did stuff that had nothing to do with hunting and fishing. They just were the most along the lines of things I found interesting to draw, and people willing to shell out a large sum of money on a memory.
Honestly, with the 4 kids, working full time at the office, and the gardening, I dont think I will have the time to get back into this for a while.
