Yep , hunted with ML's the last 10 years or so .Modern inlines only. Next year we will be allowed to use handguns during ML season in Missouri so I may not dirty up the smokepoles.

Well at one time you could buy everything that you needed to make it at a drug store. I doubt you can still do it and I never have Big Brother if you are listening.

Nope cap and ball handguns are legal to use in ML season now. For the 2012 ML season we will be allowed to use centerfire handguns, no restrictions as to caliber. This has a lot of ML hunters POed, I'm thinkin bring it on. I pretty much only hunt the ML season to get the extra eleven days of hunting season with a lot less hunters in the woods. So next season my MUZZLE LOADER will be chambered in 7-08 Rem ,338VVC or maybe a couple of others.

yep, built my 1st 2 muzzleloaders in jr. high. 1 of them i took on my last trip to africa and took blesbuck and warthogs with it. my tracker was just amazed at my "grandfather" gun ( cva mountain rile in .58 cal. ) and even more amazed i built it( from a kit ). let him shoot it and his smile and jocularity was worth a mint. must have made his year. never did pour any lead for balls , jigs whatever. done about everyuthing else since i was a youngin'. little huntin' and fishin' fool. ;D

I have an inline that is more accurate at longer distances than my rifled slug gun. I am good to 200 yards with it just using open sights.
For all practical purposes, it is just a single shot rifle that takes a few seconds longer to reload. <smile>
