Arrrggggh; I had no idea where this should go, and didn't want to start yet another thread......but this has SO much information on various crafts and remodeling ideas that I hoped everyone could take a look. Maybe something for everyone here; just click around: tipnut.com/

I was looking for kitchen remodeling ideas, and found a forum and then that site. I like that they have things from gardening ideas to herbal remedies, and lots in between.

Great site!!! Thanks Bella. Good ideas and lots of them. I bookmarked for later use. Saw a really neat idea for a gardening tool belt , and one to put around a 5gal bucket... I am always misplacing my hand tools or leaving them at the wrong end of the row and having to go back for em---LOL

I am always misplacing my hand tools or leaving them at the wrong end of the row and having to go back for em---LOL Me too!! I keep leaving the hand tools out by one garden or the other. One thing that helped was to paint the handles in flourescent colors; then we can fnd them more easily. ;D My tools are old, tho; might not want to do that with new ones.

Old tools work best, here, as long as they last. I bent the he** out of a couple new trowels, 'cuz the ground is so hard. ;D Still looking for american made tough ol' tools that stand up to my digging in the dirt.

Got grandmother's triangle row hoe that has to be 80+ years old and I love it! The handle is original and so slim and light weight (has to be the hardest, driest wood LOL)
I "lost" one of my hand claws for about 6 months until I went to check the bucket of rock salt ... and there it was, parked on top right where I left it LOL

Yeah, those old tools were really tough; hubby has my uncle's old wood plane, some files, and some other stuff that he still uses. Had to really chuckle when he brought home somethiing called a 'rogue hoe'. ;D

The funny part of all this is; I had fun making a couple of the toys (the moose call, for one) ;D , and took them over to the kids. My grandson looked at it, and went back to watching tv. The 8 yr. old granddaughter did play with it for a minute or so, and then picked up her ipod. 'Tis a whole different world than my generation grew up in, for sure. I had this grand idea of building her a woodland fairy house, since she's into the fairy thing now. Kinda wondering if that will even hold her interest, but decided to do it, anyway. If nothing else, I know I'll have fun doing it. ;D
