Tuesday October the 22nd these will be the last of my Sunflowers for 2013 And I even have a Praying Mantis standing guard duty on one of the flowers And this is the last of my Hollyhocks to bloom for the year. Charles

last fall I under took several projects...lol making some raised beds was one...... I put several hundred bags of leaves in place in 2 large areas...several feet deep.at the time my intentions were to make em tomato beds...... but those plans changed......smiles I brought in 13 pickemup trucks of manure and capped the beds with that.....

I ended up adding a bunch of mom's roses in there and azaleas and a bunch of other stuff..... and weeding....and weeding...and weeding...lol

This picture was taking back on October 28 this is one of my night blooming cactus The flower only will stay open for about 24hr when it bloom then it will be many more years Before they will bloom again behind it to the left is my Macadamia nut tree and to right Is on of the many oak trees that I have on my street that city planted for shade trees Charles

Did a sneak peek in my nursery pot saw that my Bloodroots are making new growth for 2014 so you can grow them in a nursery container and they will live. Did not get any Seeds from last year flowers they made seed head then the pods got attack by something Maybe this year I can seeds from them. Charles

Till last fall, when I put the eldest out at Sapling-In-Chief's new campground. I'll be looking on to its awakening next spring. Its part of my reforestry dreams.
