I would have my house bulldozed down and build another one out in the woods , for who? Hubbs and I , Why? Because I think this one has seen its better days. I would also put money away for the kids and grand kids.... We all know why make them get it a lil at a time so they can't blow thru it like yesterdays news I would also buy a cabin on a lake up north for hubbs, why because when we bout the cabin up north that was a fixer upper , we were supposed to sell it and buy a place on a lake, then the economy took a dive and now we are not going to sell it and get a place on a lake.

I'd like one hundred acres and a self sufficient home that can survive with or without the powergrid. On the hundred acres would be every kind of fruit and nut tree that can survive that region. Was just dreaming over the fruit tree catalogs this morning about this. Of course land cleared for gardening, sheep, goats, cows, ducks, chickens turkeys etc. Bet you can't guess that I miss being on a farm!

I'd buy land also, and move our families here. We'd have a huge farm and animals, and those who were capable could work it and care for the animals, gardens, etc. The house would be built to withstand anything the weather would throw at us, and have a lot of room for storage if things really got bad.
Oh, I'd have a naturopath for all of us, and guess we'd do some travelling, too....Germany, Israel, Costa Rica, wherever....... ;D

True. Seems contagious these days. Maybe a lot of us feel there's something missing, and we want a life with less stress. Just more simple. I do think in spite of how bad things might get, we could come out of this much stronger and wiser.
Or....that might be some late night stupidity. ;D

Would be interesting to see what we would really do if we won the lottery or something. I'm gonna win that 10 million in the publisher's clearing house sweeps this year.....yessir; can't wait til they come up the driveway. ;D

;D Don't know why I thought of this, but years ago, my brother was dating the daughter of a very wealthy Texas oil man. They were really good friends, and the father wanted them to get married. My brother said he didn't marry her because he 'didn't love her'. Imagine.
