No, but I've had some interesting looking growouts from other sources, some of them commercial seed companies. Last year, I picked up some seed in MO. I planted two squash seeds from a particular variety. One seed grew True, the other had a lovely two colour appearance that is not mentioned in the purebred description. I notified the company, going to lengths to describe what the fruits on the other plant looked like. I even told them that they were quite tasty, just not like any pictures I have seen of that squash. They thanked me for letting them know. It happens. Who knows, maybe I'm the only person to get the mutant in my package? Perhaps it's not a mutant afterall but a similar variety and one seed came a-visiting So, I sent some to a friend who has a farm and the room to grow several out should she wish to do so. It will be interesting to hear back if she gets the orange variety or the ones with the scalloped edgings. If it happens again Redperson, you'll be the next one on my share list, lol
