[glow=red,2,300][/glow]I have a lot of hybrid grape cuttings to trade. looking for seeds of unusual vitis, like Lincecumii, "Post Oak Grape", and Vitis Davidii, and Vitis Coignetiae to trade.

The grapes we have around here are the "grapes that saved the French wine industry". The lowly, yet exalted wild Texas Mustang grape. It's not a table grape, it's far too acidic for fresh eating, but it makes a good wine & an awesome jam/jelly.

Are your grape cuttings for trade? Who are you asking? If you are asking me, I'd have to say that it needs to get a little colder here before I can take cuttings. With the exception of a few brief cold snaps, it is still quite warm down here. (60s to 80s still) Also I need to practice a little more. I'm a rank amateur. ;D

You have to wonder how the first person determined that burying grape cutting upside down, the cut end would calice but the top end would not leaf untill planted upright.
