Thought I would share some info since there are other spinners here. I decided to try out Sheep Shed Studio for a wool purchase. I checked them out because They were passed on to me with glowing recommendations. If you are keen on breed specific wools this is not the place for you. I myself will confess to an unnatural passion for Icelandic wool. However they do sell domestic wool that has actually come from sheep fairly local to them. It is just generically wool, but I can live with that. They sell Brown Sheep mill ends, very inexpensively. They also sell Brown Sheep rovings. There is also other fun stuff, including yarns and warps. I ordered 2 pounds of black tones mill ends, a one pound grab bag of what should be mostly superwash, and a pound of domestic white roving. With shipping from Wyoming to NY (USPS) it came to just over $50. I got an e-mail acknowledging payment from the owner, and then another email a little bit later telling me that they had shipped. Order, acknowledgment, and shipping all on the same day. So far I am impressed. I will let you know when the roving arrives and how good it is. www.thesheepshedstudio.com/index.html

OK, I'm a happy camper.
The domestic white roving is very nice indeed. The mill ends are wonderfully silky feeling, and they made an effort to send me consistent tones. The superwash grabbag is more mixed, but they did send goodly quantities of some of the colorways so it will be easy to combine into some nice art yarn. Excellent prices, excellent service, and good quality products. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

It's always a gamble when ordering from a place the first time. Sounds like your Gamble paid off in Spades!
