Do you have an exercise routine, other than just daily work?? I was watchng the Doctors today; a bit too mainstream for me, but do watch it occasionally. I have to admit I was inspired.
He mostly talked about belly fat, which is the most dangerous kind, but also gave a lot examples of simple things we can do just to stay healthy. The main things having to do with diet, which we know.
I'm working on finding a routine that is right for me, also which equipment to buy that we both will use. So many are out there, and not sure which is best. Also, is anyone familiar with dr Sears PACE program, and have you tried it??

I don't know anything about hot tub maintenance, sorry. Don't you treat them like a swimming pool with Salt or Bleach? But Athlete's Foot is a fungal infection and highly contagious. See your Doctor or Naturopath for treatment options. I do yoga at home about twice a week. All you need is a yoga mat and some loose fitting clothing. I walk every day, no matter what the weather. On average a Mile a day. And I often attend Aquafit classes. We have one nearby that doesn't require Registration, only come and pay-as-you-play Lot's of Bellyfat there, but we do have Fun.

Yeah, why the heck do we have to fight tummy fat when we get older; just cuz we have kids?? It's just not fair. I think athlete's foot would be treated with tea tree oil, applied two or three times a day. Doesn't smell great, but from what I've heard, it works. That would be one thing to try. For exercising, I'm looking at Jillian Michaels home gym for one. What I'd really like is the Power Plate, ....but it's way over our budget.

On another note.....are ya barefoot in the yard, or garden?? Here's something I rec'd from a list I"m on: What does Earthing do? Observations and research indicate the following benefits from Earthing; we expect many more to emerge with ongoing studies. Earthing: Defuses the cause of inflammation, and improves or eliminates the symptoms of many inflammation-related disorders. Reduces or eliminates chronic pain. Improves sleep in most cases. Increases energy. Lowers stress and promotes calmness in the body by cooling down the nervous system and stress hormones. Normalizes the body's biological rhythms. Thins blood and improves blood pressure and flow. Relieves muscle tension and headaches. Lessens hormonal and menstrual symptoms. Dramatically speeds healing and helps prevent bedsores. Reduces or eliminates jet lag. Protects the body against potentially health-disturbing environmental electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Accelerates recovery from intense athletic activity. So now I take 1-3 tablespoons of coconut oil almost every day, sleep grounded, work at my desk grounded, get UVB rays and avoid carbs unless they are in fruits and vegetables and I am feeling real good. Try it! Take off your shoes and walk in the grass for a while see if you feel better. Walk on the beach bare foot. Rig up a ground sheet or mat with aluminum duct tape or by buy a conductive sheet and plug into the third prong (earth ground) or stick a metal rod in the ground and connect a wire to and and connect it to your body somehow. Read the book "Earthing, the most important health discovery ever?" It sounds "out there", but try and you will see!

Well no, not that part. I just meant we played in the rain while it was lightning......until we got yelled at, that is. ;D Tho one time, we were throwing the poker from the coal stove around, and it got hung up on the overhead power line. I don't remember who got it down or how, but my Dad wasn't too happy with us. ;D
