Theoretically probably yes, as in "they're not poisonous". Maple sap (not only from Sugar Maple, a native of the northern States and Canada) is drunk, and in the case of Sugar Maple, processed to maple syrup and maple sugar. What interests me, is if anyone can tell more, from knowledge or experience?
