Good luck Red I try to germinate some Cashew nut back in the 1980s that I got I from a Mail order seeds company with no luck Red you might try your hand at growing Some Pistachio nut trees they grow here in California and some of our local Nursery sell them you will need a Male and Female tree unless you get a Grafted tree with both male and female branches on the same tree And if you got a shaded area in your Garden try you hand at Growing Coffee this is the Coffee tree that I have in my Back yard Charles

soil preference is all over the place on this stuff. rich loamy humousy tropical soil or hard silty delta sand? as per my usual no intel beyond wicki and google.lol sooooooooooooo i'm combining bhpigeon...coppice and train's mentoring. rotfl not in a way any would expect. my own secret soil sauce. mixing it is a bear.lol

ok.wheeeeeeeeeez. soil be mixed. 6 biggun pots for my cashew seeds and marula. some native soil...some coarser bagged soil...generous[heaping] amounts of the corn silage and somewhat aged manure. the corn definately fluffs it up and provides a spongey texture to the soil.as well as some older leaves thrown in for good measure. letting the whole mixed by shovel concoction soak in before i add drainage holes. i have never added so many nutrients into such a big ass pot or such an area.lol heavy on carbons bulky organics and manure/nitrogen. definately soil of a different bird for me.lol its the best i can do fer my lil exotics. we'll see iffin they likes it.lol
