Are you going into the fortune telling business, red? LOL! We live near a big Gypsy community. They call themselves 'travelers' but they don't travel; they live in palatial homes... Anyhow, my Sis and I visited one of their spiritual advisers and had our palms read and then she read our cards. She didn't tell our future, but told us a lot about our personalities and about how we could use our strengths to do what we wanted to do and how our weaknesses might keep us from doing it. I enjoyed the whole thing; it was $25 well spent. Plus, she was 'spot on'! I really do think she had a second sense. It's not really fortune telling, but having your natal birth chart done can be one of the most insightful things you will ever do if you're interested in knowing more about yourself. Astrology is an ancient religion (the three wise men were astrologers) and if you have your chart done it will knock your socks off. It won't tell your fortune, but will give you some insight as to how you interact with the world and why.

DH and I used to do psychic fairs. If the promoters had not been idiots we might still be doing them. He in particular had a very loyal following of clients, he still reads for them sometimes. I mostly did vending, Metaphysical books, genuine stone (semi-precious, crystals, etc.) jewelry, some herbs, and stuff like that. Once in a while someone would insist I read for them and I would break out the cards. After the first time when I had to bum DH's cards I started bringing my own. DH is really good. I have a moment occasionally, but there is a reason I was vending instead of reading. He started out just reading cards, but then he incorporated some palmistry and runes as things went along. It's all just tools. I grew up going to school with the kids from Lily Dale. www.lilydaleassembly.com/So I've seen the fakes and I've seen the scarily good. Fortune telling is not really a very accurate description. I'm just not sure I know how to describe it concisely.

I don't know what the right terms are, but some people are really tuned in and seem to have a second sight awareness or something. My mother is one of those people. Sometimes its scary how her 'feelings' come to pass and odd what she knows about a person she hasn't met but once. Once when we were in a store, she saw a woman looking at clothes and said, "I just need to speak to her." I hung back at the blouses and tried to disappear, but Mamma, evidently, knew that the woman needed a kind word because soon they were hugging (they were perfect strangers) and later Mamma told me that the woman's husband had left her a few days before but Mamma 'felt' he would return that evening. I thought it was odd, but Mamma is always doing that kind of thing.

There are times when I just know things . Not sure how to explain this cuz sometimes it almost like pictures in my mind , flashes like a slide projector gone wild , and other times its just knowledge. some times its total strangers who are passing by in the mall or side walk . Other times its with someone I know .
on a funny note I just had a flash of my daughter as a teen telling her friend --- Don't even think of lying to Mom she always knows! Yaaa they had been somewhere other than where they was supposed to be!! But most times with my kids it was their own body language and eyes that told off on em...

Oh that's fun but try knowing about a disaster then forgetting about it because you thought it was a friends girlfriend then being powerless to do anything
I myself am pretty accurate when I bother and I love doing energy work even tho I naturally feel I can still guide the energy from all over to whatever I'd like even then lol even tho I've manifested a super smart intelligent shield that has my flare and may even create a line that runs back to me I still think hard work is a good thing and lol while I have dreams that come true often when I forget about them there are some that are so strange I don't know what to make of them
That disaster took me a while to get past as did seeing the demon in the x that nearly raped me (someone called it a draconian I found an image on da allmost just like but not near as scary) I still haven't really gotten to working with auras
Still there's a lot more out there then most humans care to realise

I used to read Tarot. I had to stop when I started to learn some stuff about people I really had no business knowing. The cards themselves are nothing really except a visual and tactile aid in "tuning" your consciousness into what's out there. If the subject is a very willing participant, it can get quite strange when your minds meld. I could actually "hear" their thoughts going by in my head. Too much, too personal, and too scary. I still have my decks of cards. Every once in a while I'll pick them up and throw a hand, just to see what they say.......
