My son gave us his Ron Popeil Rotisserie and BBQ oven, he said he really probably would never use so we fired it up a couple of nights ago and that little sucker really works! Kind of like having a little Costco in your kitchen. We used to get one of their rotisserie chickens every week or so but they started tasting really nasty and haven't had one in years. I brined a couple of 3 lb. chickens and cooked them for 1 hr. and 15 min. and they were really good, much better than the ones we were getting at Costco. You can stop it from turning and brown it to your liking, we're going to try baby back ribs this evening. Only drawback is it really produces a lot of heat so we'll be using it in the Az. room til it cools off.

That's a very substantial looking cooker you've got there. The Ronco will hold 2 small or 1 larger chickens, looks like yours would also handle a small turkey? I was a little put off by the heating up the kitchen issue but moving it out will solve that. I don't know if we'll keep this one or not, need to give it a few more tries, thanks for sharing.

We have one we use and we put it on the stove top and use the exhaust to suck the heat out of the kitchen!
