What do y'all call a fair price for seeds or plants? Should shipping be free aka factored in with a discount applied to the stuff or should it be seperate?
eBay has pissed me off so I will nolonger sell on there thinking of adding to my blog to sell some stuff lol but I need to sort pricing as well lol

Easy answers what a Fair price ?? Depends on the rarity of the plants and seeds in Question ? How hard are they to find if you not like the price don't buy it find it someplace else. for the Price that you want to paid for it.... you can always ask if they would take less. for it if you Can't live without it.. Shipping should not be free why the cost of the packing materials gas for the Car the time in line at the post office Ect if the seller say free shipping then it should be Factor in the cost of the item you can always post your for sell item plants and things like On Craigslist in your area under Farm & Garden

I was thinking for things I was gonna sell and while I do have a liscence I don't have a car so I would be walking or riding my bike to the post (glad y'all have cars but I don't)
The stuff if be selling would start at semi common things like yellow cherry tomatoes or Thai basil really? Anything I could grow/harvest myself
Unless I use bubbles shipping starts at 1 stamp depending on the order
Ideally I would be a low but still fair priced and easy to work with an that lol
Also I called eBay today and have decided they don't care so I'm gonna leave them

Lieb the Beat answer then to your Question would be check the prices for these things in your local community then ask you self how much would it cost me to grow these Item ?? potting soil fertilizers how much is your time worth to grow the tomatoes and basil Do you have the space/land to grow enough to sell ? this would be come a full time job do you have the Heart /love for that would you sell only Locally talk to some of the chef at the local restaurants see if they might be interested in some Fresh Tomatoes and Thai Basil ? do you have a product that would be in demand by People ?? I would love to see you become successful at your idea
Best Wishes Charles

I only have the land I'm on now (dinky house barely large enough for 2 adults)
But seeds and online to get started with was what I was thinking
Am I not being clear here?
In time I'd love to open a store that sells fresh stuff right from the plant and can easily cater to a couple resturants (would have to have there names in somewhere) as well as catering to people year round fresh food right from the plant with an area that's not kept like the rest for seeds possibly even sell a couple small plants too but price so one fruit comes free with the plant so they can see what there getting and all
But right now having no job and well no money makes it *extremely* difficult to do much of anything
