He wasn't shy at all! It was black powder season but we were not hunting , other than with a camera and had just talked to a hunter who had not seen anything all day! HAAAA this guy was less than a quarter down the trail , hunter had just came from this direction.... These were out in the flats as we came out of the mountains headed to town .

there were 30 plus antalopes out on that range--- these came up closer to the fence out of curiosity when we stopped the truck but believe me when hunting season starts they don't come up like that. The rest blend in so well its almost impossible to see them in the pic.
The bull elk was following his ladies - they were ahead of him and got into heavyier trees cover so didn't get their pics that day.

coppice, I am not sure which yucca that is and yes there were seed, lots of seed. Nope I didn't collect any. hahahha We did collect some of the dried stalks for walking sticks . a friend makes them into walking sticks and sells at shows , so we traded the stalks for made up walking sticks.
cape, oh yes lots of good eatin!!! have never hunted the antalopes tho other than with the camera.
