the giant monsters from a few weeks ago are gimping along. I still expect a high mortality rate. my wave of roses on the right side of the arbor supersoil is acting funny. the majority of green canes have gone dark shiny brown.i lopped on in half today and founds us some green in it a monthlater. dunno..... I have some large month and a half old canes still deep green with no buds, some 5 to 6 inchers just budding out. the soil was moist on the dark canes area so at a loss. just gonna let em ride till fall.lol or plant more in same area as I gets em.

well I dunno bout them crazy rose canes... been watering bout once a week as I can. some look better than others. looking at this time I may net 100 or 10-20 percent of my canes. who knows. ones I thought would croak are going. and ones I figured were locks are dying. I was gonna pull 2 rows of brown canes when I noted right at ground level some green still? sighs i'l let em do their thing.

I divided my rosa rugosa babies out of their germinating pan today. Got seven little (like the whole plant is the size of a dime) babies into cells.
One is promised for wisteria campground, two to Circumspice on N4S....
So far the others are just wall-flowers...
