If I'd any clue how completely asinine 'Eyes wide Shut' was, I would neverv have sat through the stupid thing wondering how it was going to end. Sheeeesh........ However, tonight we watched 'Resurrecting the Champ'; and we both enjoyed it.

Chilly day today; good for movie watching. Just watched 'River Red...such a melancholy story, but I've seen it twice now; not sure why. Now, 'Kingdom of the Spiders', one of my favorites. ;D

Loved the Shawshank Redemption!! We watch movies pretty often, since there's rarely anything worthwhile on tv....all those channels on satellite, you'd think there would be "something". Tonight we have an old Hitchcock one, "Suspicion". Thank heavens for Netflix. ;D

Anything with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood (yep, pops raised me right). The Matrix trilogy is a favorite of mine. I love and hate the parallels. Most H.P. Lovecraft inspired movies. Most are cheap and cheezy but so am I. Zombie movies from the worst to the best. I love them darn zombies. Laugh if you want but by merit of my viewing them I'm so much readier for the zombie apocalypes than if I hadn't watched them. Anything by M. Knight Shyamalan I also have a strange passion for Harold and Kumar go to..........they could make a Harold and Kumar go to the bathroom and I'd probably watch it.

Gardencrazy
You have some good ones.
Silence of the Lambs was great. The Green Mile brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch it.
The wife loved The Mummy and Me Myself and Irene.
If you have never watched "A Time to Kill" please do it is fantastic in my opinion.
I like all of Bruce Willis movies as well.

I've marked a few of these down, since I'm having a hard time finding good movies lately....... Haven't seen A time to kill, I don't think; will check that out. Am I the only one who has never seen ANY of the Harry Potter films??

No, I haven't seen them either, nor any of the Vampire flicks.
If you love 60's music, Pirate Radio is a MUST!

Ladies especially, I think you'd enjoy the movie "Bella". It is so sad.....but yet so happy; makes for a good human interest story; hubby even really liked it. Oh and the leading actor, Eduardo Verástegui, would make an absolutely wonderful Tiller Boy: ;D www.imdb.com/name/nm0895150/

I like old westerns and new ones too. Hildalgo....Cowboys (John Wayne)...the Heifer. I also like suspence or mysteries. Food Inc is a great documentary. We went to see the hunger games and I thought they did a great job with the movie..very close to the book.

'Se7en', with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman was excellent. A murder mystery, so it's graphic, but a good plot. 'Hush' was just so-so; started out good, but then got a bit stupid. Is anyone going to see 'Dark Shadows'?? I used to watch the tv show, and am anxious to see it; looks pretty funny!!!

Bella A time to kill is a great movie. Not a murder type movie like the name implies. I will be willing to bet a mater if you watch it you will go into several different emotions as it goes on. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Time_to_Kill_(film)The actor list. I watch it everytime it comes on. No I have no ties to the movie just like it. Now after you read the info it is the movie in a nutshell lol but still worth watching.

Looks like I could go to the movies with gardencrazy or dirtdobber. Also, every once in a while I like to watch B movies. Well, some of them are more like C- movies, heh. They can be unintentionally hilarious. One movie that is so bad that it is good is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Low-budget, awful acting, incredibly cheesy special effects - calling it a B movie is an insult to B movies. But that is the charm of it. The weapon they used to fight back against the tomatoes cracked me up. I will say no more, in case some of you are brave/stupid enough to watch it. (If you are the drinking type...it's is definitely a drinking movie.)

LinFL welcome aboard
I will go to a movie with ya lol but we are far away. I like em all when I was a High School boy we went every Friday night to a B movie as B movies can be " The Rocky Horror Picture Show" lol. The place was packed we brought bread, fisbees, lighters and did the time warp dance lol. Ahh the good ole days lol.

Here's a bit of irony: I've watched a lot of B movies, but never "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." People keep telling me that it's only worth seeing if you go to a theater, but the costumes, props and audience participation makes it feel like a rite of some bizarre cult. Knowing my luck, the climax is human sacrifice and the victim is whoever who didn't use the bread, frisbees and lighters properly.

No it was actually a low budget film filmed in Denton Texas a few miles away. It flopped big time. Then for some reason they brought it back to life and all the high school kids flocked to it.
No you can watch it at home lol and no sacrafices are made lol but it is different heck Meatloaf the singer is in it. The costumes yep they are unusual and some people wore them to the theaters. Have to have an open mind to watch it. The bread frisbees and lighters all are used for songs and stuff in the movie not hard to figure them out. Like I propose a toast chunk the bread lol.

Although I know I watched it, I can't tell you a thing about it (except for the obvious). Come to think of it, I can't remember how we made it into a drinking game either! (Every time you see a tomato - drink!?!) Yeah, Rocky Horror Picture show is a fun one too. I really do see a lot of movies! V is for Vendetta and the Fight Club have been on tv a lot, so I've been watching those.

If you drank every time you saw a tomato, it's no wonder you can't remember the movie. ;D
