Fer a western; McClintock, Advance To The Rear, the first John Wayne Wagon Train (I'm less sure of this title), shot about 1940. Props to die for.
Sci-Fi: The Presidents Analist, 2001 A Space Oddisy.
Horror: A Christmas Carol with Alistaire Simm.
Comedy: Blues Brothers, Harold & Maude.

The last movie I actually saw in a theater was Pacific Rim. One of my DD's took me for my birthday. As a big fan of Kaiju movies I was entertained. I've gotta say it was enormously better that either of the attempted American Godzilla movies. I watched those at home, The first one was so far out of canon that it shouldn't even have been called a Godzilla movie. Rules are made to be broken, but this thing had more in common with Jurrassic Park than any Godzilla movie. The more recent one was seriously lacking in Godzilla. You saw a lot of the villain monsters, but very little of Godzilla. The villain monsters were just called Mutos too. Lame!
