How about a leaf raiders scorecard? I am curious as to how everyone does and what they score. (yes, I am actually getting excited about this!)
For me, today was two trash cans full of leaves that my next door neighbor dumped into my leaf bin.

Oooo... great thread... I got (3) 55 gallon bags of leaves from the school, yes there are a few sticks and twigs in there but I didn't have to rake or bag them... and Fall has just began here soooo... more to come!

Okay, just got another two trash cans full of leaves. May have scored the big time though..... The owner of the lawn maintenance company we use at work only lives a few miles away. We were talking last night and he has offered to dump his vacumm trailer in my yard for me once a week. This would be a great help! I can only haul 4-5 bags of leaves in my compact car at a time. Can't wait to see the looks on my neighbor's faces when someone starts blowing leaves in my yard.... Look out Garret, I may be raiding your leaf pile next.....

Major score! You may have to make arrangements to contain that kind of quanity.
I checked around last year with the lawn care companies in the area. They just bag it and leave it at the customer's curb for the city to pick up. No mass quantity in one vehicle to drop off at my place. It's a shame. I've been looking for ways to do lazy curb/leaf raiding.

22 bags today before the city took over my hunting grounds.
Now I raid in a skirt. Because of this, the men usually come out and load my car for me. At one house, a lady came out and yelled because I was taking her leaves. Apologized and said I would not be back. When I came back that way, her husband flagged me down and apologized.

What a surprise! Just got home from work, let the dogs out. Walked over to the leaf pile. It is twice the size from when I left this afternoon. The neighbor must have dumped his leaves over the fence today.

Well, leaf raiding has begun in earnest now. After a week of 30-40 mile winds, people are starting to bag up their black gold.
Round one netted 19 bags. Sighted bags for pickup later tonight or tomorrow morning depending upon when they put them out. Next weekend should be the big weekend!
Hope everyone's leaf raiding is going well....

Picked up another dozen today. One more weekend and I will be done. Will not need the leaves from the lawn company. My neighbors are dumping theirs over the fence.
How is everyone else doing?

Well, tonight was a busy night. I am pretty much done collecting for the house now. I am only bringing home bags of mulch leaves or bags of water oak leaves for the house now. I even gave my phone number to the houses that mulch them. They've been nice to save them for me. For the house, it was 17 bags.
Now for the bulk of the collecting tonight, just finished hauling 58 bags of leaves to the community garden for composting. If I am up early enough tomorrow, will haul more.
How is everyone else doing?

Just started yesterday. Neighbor was raking leaves and called me to see if I wanted them again this year. I told her by all means. When I dumped the trashcan load into the newer side yard garden, she said "If that's where you want them, I can just dump them over the fence as I get a trashcan load." Absolutely, thank you.
Now if I could just get all those homes where I find the bags of leaves to deliver.....

Raid on Sunday ... for Tuesday pickup, raid on monday, etc.
